The seed sown by Rev. Fr Augustus Muller SJ in 1880 has grown as a mighty tree called Father Muller Charitable Institutions encompassing a number of education and health care units.The initial spirit of the Founder still guides the destiny of these Institutions and with the motto “Heal and Comfort” the noble mission is carried on with the same zeal by everyone connected with these Institutions.
With the starting of Father Muller Medical College, the growth of the Institutions was accelerated and the mission was broadened. A number of out-reach programmes and rural centres are brought into the ambit of this Institution.Efforts are made to create a Centre of Excellence.Quality of education and service is top most priority.Soon the Laboratories of the Hospital will be accredited by NABL and all initial work for accreditation of teaching Institutions by NAAC is completed. Steps are initiated to accredit the Hospital by NABH.Efforts also are made to create infrastructure and facilities in the Institutions that meet high standards.
Father Muller Institutions is a brand name.The public is supporting the Institution in a big way.The staff and students of each teaching Institution are making a mark in the national and international forums.Still there is a lot to achieve.With the cooperation and goodwill of all, we march towards this goal.
