BREAST FEEDING DAY AT JYOTHINAGAR

The Department of Paediatric Medicine(FMMCH) ,Departments of Paediatric & OBG Nursing(FMNCON) organised a quiz on Breast feeding to mothers , a healthy baby show of their infants and a health talk by Mrs .Prema D’ Souza, HOD of Paediatric Nursing ,supported by a CD on Breast feeding released by the above departments, “Amritha Bindhu”.

Around 200 mothers with their infants participated in the programme. Dr. Elizabeth Varkey Cherian conducted the health check up of the infants.

Ms.Priya Fernandes welcomed and Ms.Pavithra A.P thanked the gathering .The PG students of Department of Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric & OBG Nursing took charge of the whole programme , thus completing the fourth day event of the Breast feeding week.
