Doctor's Day Celebration

The Clinical Society of Father Muller Medical College celebrated Doctors day on 30/06/12 at 3 pm at the Decennial Memorial Hall of Knowledge centre. Dr. Gertrude Joshua (Paediatrician) & Dr. T A Koshy (Anaesthesiologist) were the guest of honour. They were felicitated on that day for their achievements in their respective fields.

Dr Gertrude Joshua was introduced by Dr Vardaraj Shenoy, Professor of Paediatrics and felicitated by the Chief of Medical Services Dr B. Sanjeev Rai. Dr TA Koshy was introduced by Dr Sudhir Hedge, Professor of Anaesthesiology and felicitated by Rev Fr Richard Coelho Administrator Father Muller Medical College Hospital.

The welcome address was given by the Dean of Father Muller Medical College,Dr JP Alva. The presidential address was delivered by Rev. Fr Denis D’sa, Administrator, Father Muller Medical College. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Thomas. S. Kuruvilla, President of Clinical Society FMMC.

A special 10 minute talk was given by Dr TA Koshy entitled “Severe Laryngospasm“a topic close to his heart.

This programme was attended by 200 participants. The master of ceremonies was Dr Zevita Furtado final year resident Department of microbiology who closed the proceedings for the day.
