Re-Orientation Programme for FMHMC Interns on 30-06-2012

The Re-orientation programme for FMHMC Interns was held on 30th June 2012 at 10.AM. Dr Girish Navada, Interns’ Coordinator asked them to share their experiences.
Akhil B.G, Intern, shared his views regarding the management of emergency conditions in practice. Debanjan Bannerjee, another intern, shared his views that, for a Homoeopath, Homoeopathic knowledge is more important than Allopathy. He also stressed about the importance of selecting Similimum in all cases.

Dr Devdas Acharya, Professor, Yenepoya Medical College, Deralakatte, presented a lecture on basis of Radiology, which gave an insight as regards the importance of radio diagnosis in practice.
After that, there was a discussion by Dr Srinath Rao, Principal, FMHMC, regarding the importance of documentation.

Dr Rao emphasized about the importance of recording the complete data regarding the patient as narrated by him. This will enable one to analyse the case in a better way. He said that, Interns have to be good learners and must aim at becoming complete doctors.
The discussion came to an end at 1.45 PM.
On 2/7/12, Monday Dr Shivaprasad took classes regarding case concept form, standardized paper in Homoeopathic prescription methods and techniques of dissertation etc. The session started at 1.45 p.m and ended by 4.00 p.m.
On 04/07/2012 Dr Srinath Rao took Classes in the afternoon session regarding objectives of Internship programme; application of knowledge in clinical practice and methods of effective learning in terms of knowledge care, patient care & learner care. The session started at 1.45 p.m. and ended by 4.45 p.m. |
